Here at Valley Dental Practice we have been able to offer Denplan monthly payment plans for over 30 years. Denplan have a number of different products including Denplan Care, Denplan Essentials, and Plans for Children.The key focus of all Denplan Plans is to ensure that patients receive the best possible preventative dental care.
At Valley Dental Practice we offer all three plans as we hope this provides the best service for our patients.
In this blog we will look to explain the difference between our Denplan Care and Denplan Essentials plans.
Denplan Care
Denplan Care is a monthly payment plan which is based on an assessment of your dental health. Denplan Care is the most popular plan at our practice and helps you pay for your routine dental treatment. Fees range from £22.07 to £52.99 a month.
The only additional costs would be for laboratory fees on items such as crowns, bridges or dentures. Denplan Care does not cover referral to a specialist, teeth straightening, dental implants, cosmetic treatments and sedation fees.
By attending the dentist regularly, it is possible to spot and avoid dental problems before they happen, protecting your teeth and therefore saving you from extensive dental restorations. Denplan Care allows you to keep your teeth in excellent condition without worrying about unexpected bills.
Denplan Essentials
Denplan Essentials does not require a pre-assessment prior to joining and gives you the freedom to decide how often you want to see your dentist and the amount you would like to pay. The plan does not cover restorative treatment, but you will receive a 10% discount off this.
Routine dental care includes:
- Check-ups (up to the maximum detailed in your agreement)
- Scaling, polishing and other hygiene treatment (up to the maximum detailed in your agreement)
- Dental x-rays
- Any additional treatment specified as included by the dentist in your agreement
- Preventive dental advice
Denplan Essentials does not cover:
- Restorative dental treatments including fillings, crowns, bridges or dentures
- Laboratory fees and prescriptions
- Any treatment excluded by the dentists in your contract
- Referral to a specialist and specialist treatment
- Teeth straightening, dental implants, cosmetic treatment
- Sedation fees
We offer a number of different Essentials Plans from £11.49 to £31,99 depending on the number of check-ups and hygienist appointments you choose to have.
This plan allows you to ensure that you can keep up with the habit of regular check-ups, enabling the dentist the spot and avoid complex and expensive dental problems before they happen. The dentist is also able to provide you with advice and techniques to ensure that you always have the best tools to keep your teeth in excellent condition.
All the plans are paid for by a monthly direct debit, with a one off joining fee of £15.00, allowing costs to be spread into easy, manageable amounts, spread over the year. This will allow you to very clearly budget for you dental care and help to prevent any nasty surprises.
